CGI ANIMATION

We have worked with Marks Electrical for over 3 years, having produced numerous CGI animated TV adverts that broadcast across Sky AdSmart to promote their brand and the electronic appliance deals in their large shop and online store.

The client was looking for a fun and memorable animated film which differed from their previous videos of people talking to camera with simplistic motion graphics. With such a competitive and crowded marketplace for tech retail, Marks Electrical needed to create a prominent brand identity that ensured they stood out from their competitors. So we created a friendly animated robot character called MK1!

VARIATION & LONGEVITY

Our next focus was to build longevity and variation. These adverts have been repurposed many times to show different deals and partner brands because of their versatility. We also create themed TV adverts, such as for Halloween, Black Friday and Christmas, to coincide with their seasonal marketing campaigns.

CHARACTER DESIGN

MK1’s robotic body reflects the domestic appliances and technology that Marks Electrical sell, while encapsulating their brand colours and logos.

We modelled residential areas and the company warehouse to reiterate Marks Electrical’s highly-rated delivery service. MK1 flying into frame was a great way to reflect their ability to speedily reach customers everywhere.

MK1’s bubbly and vibrant personality helped Marks Electrical to appeal to families and younger audiences. The lovable MK1 character is now utilised across all of their social media and marketing platforms and has recently been made into a toy!
