Christmas 2023 Campaign

CLIENT

We produced social content for The Perfume Shop‘s ‘Merry Spritzmas’ Christmas campaign. The 30 second promotional film is a celebration of fragrance as your perfect party companion.

THE PROCESS

Our concept was to follow 4 different groups of people (a couple, older family, family with young children and pair of friends) as they get ready to attend the same Christmas party, placing perfume at the heart of the celebration.

Our illustrator designed a storyboard to bring the scenes envisioned by our Director and DOP to life. Before the main shoot, we did a test shoot to provide a preview of the assembled shots, which also gave us a chance to practise executing the more intricate camera movements. We hired out a house and decorated it with hundreds of glitzy Christmas lights and baubles, throwing a full-on Christmas party with extras and our very own DJ Tom, which definitely got us in a festive spirit (even if the filming did take place in October!). We commissioned a new bespoke Christmas track and weaved the clips together in a fast-paced edit. We worked with the client to ensure a range of approved perfumes were featured, and we made sure to especially highlight their personalisation services and free gift wrap in store. 

The ad has since amassed 1.5 million views on YouTube
