Some nice news to share – we’ve been shortlisted for two Midlands Marketing Awards this year: Agency of the Year, and Best Storytelling for our project with Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust.
The past year has been full of brilliant projects, and we’ve been fortunate to work alongside a whole range of great clients and collaborators.
From filming a mini-documentary to celebrate 200 years of Cadbury, flying FPV drones through Wembley Stadium and Nottingham Forest City Ground for The FA, and creating 360 VR films for NHS Blood and Transplant, to producing TV ads, animated explainers, tourism campaigns and more – it’s been a very busy and rewarding year.
We’re grateful that the team’s hard work and the results we’ve delivered for our clients have earned us a spot as a finalist for Agency of the Year, reflecting the dedication and care that goes into everything we do.
The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust project has been a real standout for us, especially with its nomination for Best Storytelling.
We were asked to create a new audio-visual production to welcome visitors to Blists Hill Victorian Town, telling the story of a 1900s East Shropshire Coalfield town. We used a mix of live action footage and animation to help explain what life was like at that time and give visitors a sense of what they’re about to see in the museum. The finished film plays across three large screens at the museum entrance. Since it launched in April, more than 30,000 people have watched it, and the feedback from visitors and staff has been really positive.
It’s great to be a finalist alongside some of the region’s top agencies and brands. The Midlands Marketing Awards are a fantastic way to celebrate the brilliant work being produced across the region, and we’re excited to be part of it.
We’re really proud of what the whole team has achieved together this year. These nominations are a lovely bit of recognition for everyone’s hard work, creativity and teamwork behind the scenes. We’re looking forward to the awards ceremony in September and wish the best of luck to everyone involved!
