Spark Media Video Production Agency

Tourism and Heritage is Everything.

We make tourism videos that get people curious and excited to visit. We’ve worked with tourism boards, councils, BIDs, attractions, museums, heritage sites and charities of all shapes and sizes. We’ve filmed everything from TV ads and social clips to event videos, 360 tours, FPV drone fly-throughs and visitor experience films. Whatever the project, we know how to show off a place and capture what makes it worth visiting. If you want to show off your region or attraction, we’ll help you tell the story in your own voice.

MORE OF OUR WORK...

How we work

We’re a creative bunch with years of experience working with tourism and heritage clients all over the country. We know the market inside out and we genuinely love what we do. We understand the unique challenges that come with promoting destinations and heritage sites. There are visitor schedules to work around, protected spaces to film in, and stories that need to feel true to place and people. We’ve learned how to work around these things in a way that keeps projects smooth and enjoyable for everyone.

Our in-house team covers everything: directors, scriptwriters, producers, animators, camera operators, lighting and sound techs, editors, a drone pilot and a marketing exec – all under one roof and production managed from start to finish.

From the first chat and brainstorming ideas to production, post-production and final delivery, we can handle it all.

Briefing meeting with client

Initial Meeting

We start by getting to know you and your destination or attraction. We’ll chat through your brief to understand your goals, who you want to reach, the style you like and where your videos will be shared. What’s your story? What makes your site special? We want to get a real feel for it before we start filming.

Pre-Production

Our team then gets creative. We’ll brainstorm ideas and present concepts to you. Once a direction is agreed, our Director works closely with your team to shape the script. If we’re filming on location, we’ll visit the site in advance to plan around access, lighting, and visitor flow. Our illustrators can sketch out a storyboard so you can picture how it’ll all come together. From there, our Producer takes care of all the logistics including casting, schedules, permissions, and risk assessments.

Production

Time to roll the cameras! Our in-house production team consists of Directors, Camera Operators, a Production Manager, Producer, Sound Technician, Gaffer, and Drone Pilot. We have a wide range of digital full-frame cinema-grade cameras, prime lenses, and extensive lighting, sound and grip systems all in-house at no additional cost to you.

Post Production

Once filming’s wrapped, our editors bring everything together with sound design, licensed music, colour grading, subtitles and any motion graphics you’d like.

Delivery

We include time for feedback and edits in every project, so you’ll always get the film exactly how you want it. First, we’ll share a rough cut, then a final graded version in the formats you need. We can also advise on distribution to help your video reach the right audience.

Simply excellent at what they do. The team at Spark completely nailed the brief creating a cinematic TV advert which told a story. Everything was an easy process from initial briefing to post-production. We look forward to working with you in the future.
