What We Did
For Homefire we put the fire at the heart of the home.
Promoting e-coal and kiln dried wood we created a TV commercial that shows a lounge with a log burner shift through the season of winter.
With the ever changing events of the season (Halloween, Christmas, NYE etc) altering the look of the lounge, the one thing that stays constant is the cosy, warm fire at the centre of the room.

This idea posed a real challenge for the team at Spark as the client wanted a real fire in the advert and not a version superimposed in post production. So we worked with our friends at Spaghetti Studios and built a bespoke lounge in their main studio with a ‘real’ log burner fitted including a chimney.
We used a motion controlled track which allowed us to replicate the same shot time after time creating the desired effect.
The TV commercial was created for ITV and a Sky Adsmart campaign in the UK and a different cut was created for Ireland.
Spark Media has also produced radio commercials for the campaign which were broadcast nationally.
