Spark Media were commissioned by host broadcaster Sunset+Vine to produce the opening & closing title sequences for the Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022‘s international coverage.
Opening & Closing Tiles
A combination of live action and animation, it showcases some of our city’s most iconic locations, blending fast paced colourful character animation that encapsulates the excitement and emotion the games have brought to Birmingham. The bespoke soundtrack has been created by music production company, and long time collaborators Muchas Music. Spark has also been commissioned to work on several other animated assets for the broadcast which was seen across the world during the event.
